Since the Enderman takes damage from water, it may help you kill it faster. Endermen don't actually need to teleport away from projectiles because they are immune to projectiles, demonstrable by trapping an Enderman in a boat and shooting projectiles at it. Start a new or edit an old world you already have, and go to the Resource Packs tab and click my packs.
